I started making wooden bows already as a kid but in a serious way around 1998. Since that I have made over 30 selfbows and backed wooden bows. I was into archery and making bows at 5 and I still enjoy it, more than ever.

Now I have finally learned to make durable weapons... at least I'd like to think so :) Well, sometimes I still break bows when I push the limits or don't know what I'm doing.. Anyway, it's fun to try different woods and bow designs and see how they perform. I'm seriously hooked in this crazy hobby because I find myself planning new bows all the time!

Why so many ELB's here? I'm very much interested in medieval English military archery even though I have no geographical connection to that part of the world. I like the idea that you can smash something with heavy arrows, it feels more like a real weapon and you have to learn how to push yourself to your limits.
